My name is Toni Vodišek, a 26-year-old athlete from Koper, Slovenia. I am a professional sailor, specializing in the Olympic discipline of Formula Kite. My path in the world of sports is a reflection of unwavering dedication, hard work, and a constant pursuit of the highest goals. For me, success is the result of not only individual effort, but also teamwork, which is key to achieving top results.

Although I have been involved in this sport since I was young, I only fully dedicated myself to a career in kitesurfing after graduating from high school, where I studied economics. With the help of my father, who has always been my biggest supporter, I focused on developing my skills in Formula Kite.

My sports career began in the youth categories, where I achieved exceptional results. In 2019, I won the European silver medal, which was my first major success in member competition. After that, I suffered a shoulder injury that required surgery, which briefly interrupted my sporting career. In addition, I was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which further complicated my recovery. However, these challenges only made me stronger. In 2024, I returned to the top level and won an Olympic silver medal. This achievement was a confirmation of my hard work, perseverance and passion for the sport. With this success, I proved that with dedication and the right support, even great obstacles can be overcome.
